Standard* Aggro RW (Boros)

Sideboard

Maybeboard

Right now, a very WIP deck that uses the new mentor mechanic to extremely degree, with a focus on bolstering a set of primarilly white creatures, and using cheap red removal to clear the board.

Cards like Boros Challenger and Swiftblade Vindicator are extremely potent 2 drop cards that can, and will, win trades early on. Tajic, Legion's Edge and Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice are currently the main win conditions.

Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants will be to ensure that Mentor is always going off by manipulating +1/+1 counters on my creatures, while also being able to bring back the majority of my creatures from the grave, primarily Swiftblade Vindicator. I keep The Immortal Sun sideboard, replacing Ajani only if I'm going up against a Teferi control deck.

Shock and Lightning Strike are useful for removing key annoyances, either to kill cards before they get the chance to block, or kill cards after they've blocked. Risk Factor is probably the most versatile card in the deck right now, since it both has the potential to deal damage (something an aggro deck wants), or draw cards (countering one of the major problems with boros).

Everything currently in the maybe board are cards that I want to experiment with to see which ones are the best to go in the deck.

Updates Add

This is the first time I've used a completed version of my deck. The only substitutions I made were replacing two of the Maximize Velocity with two Gird for Battle and the two Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants with two Integrity / Intervention because I did not have the two I needed.

Pre-tournament I played against a Jeskai control deck, winning five of the six games before forfeiting the last game due to their 18+ counterspells, and [card: Teferi, Hero of Dominaria]. This would set the tone for the rest of the night.

Round 1 was against a Dimir deck focused around Etrata, the Silencer. Thankfully I was able to outwit my opponent and take both games for myself.

Round 2 was against the same person playing Jeskai control. Unfortunately, despite my earlier attempts, I lost to the deck both times thanks to Settle the Wreckage, which not only kept me from swinging out several times, it slowed my ability to deal damage to the point that Teferi was able to get his emblem in both games.

Round 3 was bant control with a focus on stopping combat damage, and a nasty twist with a playset of Nexus of Fate. He was able to get infinite turns to the point I had to bow out because I couldn't stand just not being able to do anything.

Round 4 was against a fairly standard Selesnya deck but I was so tilted by my first two rounds that I wasn't able to think straight, let alone play to the best of my abilities.

Needless to say, I'm going to adjust the deck to add more damage instants, and look into The Immortal Sun as a way to counter Teferi and other planeswalker nonsense.
