This just in: I hate the utterly broken formatting in these text fields. Is it too hard not to delete spacing, Tappedout? Really? Kinda makes it hard to read when everything I write is forced into a giant paragraph for no actual reason.

A bog-standard Hapatra list that's more or less comprised of budget and recent cards. The landbase could probably use some work, especially since I didn't actually dig through my collection, I just used what was lying around in the immediate vicinity. IRL the deck even mixes fullarts and normal art lands. I deserve to be shot, I know.

It's a bog-standard list outside of a few oddball inclusions like Glissa, the Traitor, and that's more or less due to the artifact density moreso than any other real reason. Probably not a totally unique idea by any stretch of the imagination.

As it is, I'm open to suggestion. I openly realize there are some cards that go in that I probably won't be interested in getting just for this specific brew (Doubling Season and such), but between starting the brew and finishing off the landbase, I wound up getting a ton more staples, commander product, and so on. I'm swimming in so much black and blue, in part due to taking apart old decks as well as getting Teferi and Ob Nix on the cheap, and I've got staples floating around everywhere. If a card's under five bucks, I'll definitely consider it whether I have it or not.

The deck itself functions on two core premises.

Firstly, it is constructed with an aggressive, low-to-the-ground curve. While it does have high CMC cards, for every expensive card, there are two more ready to be cast on as few as three lands.

Secondly, it uses Hapatra's ability to act as a fast tempo deck. Draining opponent threats and swelling the number of creatures on your board help dissuade any would-be attackers, and while the deck doesn't yet contain any infinites, don't underestimate the possible number of tokens you'll end up with.

Toxic Deluge. I need more than one, really; this deck gets the most out of it but isn't actually the first in line to have one.
