Gain advantage using creature card abilities and removal spells to control your opponent's board and hand. Use your humans to power Champion of the Parish and swing for early game aggro. When something dies, tap your creatures using Skirsdag High Priest to summons 5/5 demons.

Everytime they block, you summon a demon, everytime you block an attack, you summon a demon, and everytime you sacrifice you summon a demon. Whenever your demon dies, you also summon a demon.

Human Synergy:

Champion of the Parish- Early/Mid game when Combo'd with Gather the Townsfolk or itself can potentially net you a 6/6 on turn 3 and can keep growing with each turn. During late game, you can summon for one to sacrifice him using Angelic Purge or Tragic Slip. Both will trigger Skirsdag High Priest.

Skirsdag High Priest- With the help of 2 other creatures, he can summon a 5/5 Flying Demon.

Thalia, Guardian of Thraben- Ups the cost of all non-creature spells.

Gather the Townsfolk help generate tokens that serve as blockers and sacrifice fuel. It also has a very unique Fateful Hour ability that can sometimes turn the tide of the game.

Demonic Finishers:

Desecration Demon- 6/6 Flying, At the beginning of combat, opponent may sacrifice a creature. If a player does, tap Desecration Demon and put a +1/+1 counter on it. This will trigger Skirsdag High Priest and Tragic Slip or Fatal Push.

Demon Token- 5/5 Flying. Summoned by Skirsdag High Priest if the demon is killed, the ability is triggered again and another demon token comes back into play.

Removal:

Angelic Purge- Sacrifice PERMANENT. Exiles an artifact, creature, or enchantment.

Fatal Push- Cheap instant removal that can help trigger Skirsdag High Priest.

Fiend Hunter- With Aether Vial, this can be cast as an instant removal against a creature.

Kitesail Freebooter- Great for hand control and early game harassment from the air.

Utility Cards:

Aether Vial- Tapping allows your creatures to be played at instant speed without the use of mana.

Flagstones of Trokair- In the small instance where you want to sacrifice a land versus a creature for Angelic Purge.

Halimar Depths- Helps set up cards for your next 3 turns without any mana cost and acts like nothing more than colorless mana afterwards.

Phyrexian Arena- Creates much needed card advantage for the rest of the game without a recurring mana cost.

Vault of the Archangel- Gives your creatures deathtouch and lifelink on turn activated. Basically anything you touch dies and you become stronger.

Sideboard:

1x Angelic Purge- Add an extra versus decks using Blood Moon, Rest in Peace, Chalice of the Void or any other card that nullifies our build.

1x Auriok Champion- Versus creature heavy or token decks. Immune to Red or Black Burn/Removal.

1x Fiend Hunter Extra creature removal.

1x Grafdigger's Cage- Versus Storm or any deck with grave recursion.

2x Kataki, War's Wage- Versus Affinity decks which run few lands.

2x Mirran Crusader- Versus Jund & G/B decks.

1x Selfless Spirit- Versus board wipes. Can be used on the offensive as well and is also another sacrifice trigger for Skirsdag High Priest.

3x Sin Collector- Versus spell heavy control/removal decks.

1x Thalia, Heretic Cathar- Versus Aggro & Storm or control heavy decks. Great dampener card with aggressive stats mid to late game.
