Well, you asked for it, I decided to make this into something which won't be considered absolute trash at your local FNM and spare you merciless mocking! Let's get to it shall we?
Key Cards:
Avacyn's Pilgrim: One of the cheap mana dorks in the deck. This helps us get to our combo faster than the turn 4 that some modern decks can.
Elvish Mystic: Another mana dork, but for green. This serves the same purpose as Avacyn's Pilgrim.
Commune with Nature
: This is an important dig tool to help find combo pieces. This deck runs a fair amount of creatures so even if you don't hit a Midnight Guard, it won't be a waste!
Essence Warden
: One of the white soul sisters, but in green basically. Life gain is good!
Soul Warden: Re-read Essence warden. Replace all aspects of green with white.
Idyllic Tutor: Tutors for our combo piece. Pretty great because it puts it in our hand.
Khalni Garden
: Makes tokens, Gains life if you have Soul Sisters. Also nice chump blockers to delay game if you're playing against aggro.
Midnight Guard
: One of the key combo pieces!!! Midnight Guard + Presence of Gond
is an infinite combo. It is hard to beat 1,000,000 Elves swinging for face.
Oblivion Ring: A nice removal piece. Can hit almost anything you want.
Selesnya Evangel
: A lovely 1/2 who isn't entirely useful in other decks. However, when you have numerous soul sisters on the field, this can make you a LOT of life.
Ajani's Pridemate: With all the life you gain, it would a terrible idea to be without an offensive force. Pridemate fills this spot.
Intangible Virtue: We make tokens!!! This helps tokens!!! Win win.
Sprout Swarm
: You /should/ have a lot of creatures on the field so this can make you a lot of life for minimal mana... And you can do it again!
Heliod's Pilgrim
: Can tutor for your combo piece... As simple as that!
Well there you have it. The deck plays really simply. Have fun!
This deck is Tsukiko Approved!
