This deck is the epitome of what a green/blue EDH deck wants to do which is ramp and draw. Thrasios, Triton Hero lets you cheat lands into play and draw cards which generates even more ramp when Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix is in play and then you can rinse and repeat. Before you know it you will be able to generate 100+ mana from all of your lands along with cards like Mana Reflection and Doubling Cube . Then with your abundance of mana you can use either Blue Sun's Zenith , Stroke of Genius or Braingeyser to mill one of your opponents. Keep in mind if you don't have enough mana to mill one one of your opponents yet you can always cast a draw X spell on yourself, use Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix 's ability then untap them one or more times with cards like Aphetto Alchemist , Thousand-Year Elixir or Minamo, School at Water's Edge to get the mana you need to take someone out of the game. If you don't want to mill your opponents this deck has other win-cons, specifically ones that synergize with Thrasios, Triton Hero 's landfall potential such as Avenger of Zendikar , Baloth Woodcrasher and Rampaging Baloths .

Tatyova, Benthic Druid makes for a half decent alternative commander if your opponents complain that Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix and Thrasios, Triton Hero are too strong for a casual play group. Tatyova, Benthic Druid isn't nearly as strong of a commander for this deck because all of the untap abilities in this deck no longer inherently syngergize with your commander and you will have to find two pieces to your combos.

Play this deck if you like.... drawing cards, ramp, landfall, untapping permanents, mill decks and playing combo decks.

Paris Mulligan Show

In the beginning stages of the game you just want to ramp as hard as you can whether it means rushing either of your two commanders into play or by first dumping your entire hand into play. Play either of your two commanders at your own digression and don't be too worried about removal because they will be pretty easy to play again with how much mana this deck generates. Keep in mind that most ramp cards in this deck are way more effective than Thrasios, Triton Hero , so trying to use their ability on turn 4 isn't necessarily the best goal. In your opening hand go for; as many lands or ramp cards as possible and 2-3 good cards noted bellow.

Notable Cards Show

( Training Grounds ) cuts the cost of Thrasios, Triton Hero 's ability in half which will allow this deck to take off twice as quick. Heartstone is much worse but the ability is still so relevant that I would keep either/both in my opening hand for the -3 mana cost to Thrasios, Triton Hero ability.

( Sylvan Library ) lets you draw two additional cards at the start of your turn, even if you don't pay life and choose to put them back on top of your library which means Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix will automatically produce 3 mana instead of 1. On top of that, this card lets you manipulate your top deck which is great for putting lands on top of your library which can be cheated into play with Thrasios, Triton Hero . Brainstorm works the same way but is only a one time use.

( Retreat to Coralhelm ) is a nice combo piece because Thrasios, Triton Hero puts lands into play which triggers landfall allowing you to untap Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix which can hopefully generate enough mana to use Thrasios, Triton Hero 's ability again. With those 3 cards in play you can usually dig deep enough through your library to win a win-con the same turn.

( Scroll Rack ) lets you manipulate your top deck which is extremely powerful with Thrasios, Triton Hero for scrying away unwanted cards and easily cheating lands into play.

( Genesis Wave ) is another nice win-con when you have tons of mana and a landfall card in play such as Rampaging Baloths .

( Seedborn Muse ) in play means you can use Thrasios, Triton Hero 's ability exponentially more for each other player in the game. The more untap steps the better.

( Tatyova, Benthic Druid ) synergizes with both of your commanders synergizing from lands and card draw causing this deck take off very quickly. The benefits from this card are hard to pass on.

( Psychosis Crawler ) is another great win-con that lets you cast your x-draw spells on yourself instead of a single opponent letting you take out everyone at once. Even if you don't have a x-draw spell in hand, this card racks up some pretty quick damage from all of the other draw effects in this deck.

( Magus of the Candelabra ) generates absurd amounts of mana when paired with a mana doubler such as Mana Reflection as well as one of the many untap cards in this deck such as Kiora's Follower . This card is also very efficient with Training Grounds or Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx .

( Karametra's Acolyte ) usually produces more mana than Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix in the early game. Not to mention how potent this card is when paired with all of the untap cards in this deck.
