A budget version of my former BU artifact mill deck. I had to sell a lot of the planeswalkers and other shiny cards to make rent. But I breathed new life into the ol' deck with some more affordable cards. Lots of transmuting and tutoring to get my key cards. The key combos include Aphetto Alchemist + Grindclock + Illusionist's Bracers or Archfiend of Ifnir + Jace's Archivist . I also like digging for Bonehoard and/or Nighthowler and then voltroning with Mr. Renn. I had to buy Paradox Engine again because with that, a few mana rocks, and either Jace's Archivist, Otherworld Atlas, or Temple Bell, I can basically play the deck out to my heart's content. Another fun one that I just added but haven't tried out yet is to pair Etrata, the Silencer with Strionic Resonator and Voltaic Key to theoretically kill someone in one turn. Need to check into the rulings there.

The old version was a ton of fun, but looking back, I think some of the cards were more lavish than necessary. I do want to get Unwinding Clock again, and then I'll add my Shimmer Myr once more. I will rebuild the ol' Mill Machine, and make it more efficient and powerful. As Mr. Pennyworth so elegantly put it, why do we fall sir?
