Disenchanted Ramp —March 15, 2018
Some unexciting changes to improve the consistency of my mana base: Pulling back from the enchantment ramp strat and returning some standard ramp spells.
Enchanting lands to produce more mana was a cool ramp idea, and the synergy with my enchantresses was great in the mid to late game. But those enchanted lands are huge targets for land-destruction and when my opponents did destroy them, it set me back multiple turns. Not worth it.
In
- Farseek
- Selesnya Signet
- Skyshroud Claim
- Herald of the Pantheon - Make it cheaper!
- Avacyn, Angel of Hope - Make everything indestructible!
- Okina, Temple to the Grandfathers
- 2x Plains
Out
- Wild Growth
- Overgrowth
- Weirding Wood
- Bastion Protector
- Selesnya Sanctuary - slow and a big land destruction target
- Secluded Steppe - cycling's nice but I really don't want tapped land
- Scattered Groves - again, reducing land that enters tapped
- 1x Forest

For tutor you might want to run Plea for Guidance
For removal you can run Darksteel Mutation
For damage you can run Armadillo Cloak

This looks very competitive! More oppressive than my Sigarda, Host of Herons deck, but that is cool. Greater Good might be a cool draw/filtering engine too, for late game when the enchantresses aren't pulling their weight, or if somehow you are going to lose Sigarda herself.
Thanks for sharing.~BoS
