She is a 5/5. She has Flying. Hexproof and a resistance to sacrifice makes her difficult to remove. All of this for just five mana. Sigarda beats the vanilla test with an aluminum bat and still brings so much more to the table. What more could one want from a Voltron commander?

Equipment Voltron commanders are pretty common so I decided to go for something a little different. Taking full advantage of her innate survivability, Auras seems like a solid strategy. Auras are often cheaper to cast (and equip) than Equipments, but at the risk of being "Two for Oned" when your commander dies. Sigarda is pretty much only weak to board wipes so Darksteel Plate , Indestructibility , and numerous instances of Totem Armor will make her nearly immortal. If not Retether, Replenish, and Nomad Mythmaker can still recover my Auras from the grave.

This is a glass cannon build built for no more than a three man game. This either wins fast or not at all. If you notice, Sigarda is the only beater in the deck. All other creatures are for utility. My defenses are made up of tax effects to discourage swinging at me. The goal is hold off my opponent just long enough to squeeze in 21 commander damage. Given long enough, most people will have enough mana or answers to get past, so a quick victory is key.

I would like some suggestions for new Auras though. Any suggestions need to give at least +2/+X. Right out of the Command Zone, she only deals 5 damage which is a 5 hit kill (21/5 = 4.2 hits to kill.) Buffing her to at least 7 power makes her kill nearly twice as fast (21/7 = 3 hits to kill.) Auras should also be 3 mana or less (unless they are really really good) to keep the curve low. The defenses won't last forever so it's important that Sigarda is enchanted as much as possible the turn summoning sickness wears off.
