A long time ago, specifically 2008, i had been on a break from magic and decided to start playing again. I went to an FNM and picked up an Eventide - Sidestep theme starter deck. That night i went second at the FNM with that deck straight out of the deckbox. One of the reasons being the combo that comes in the form of Clout of the Dominus + Riverfall Mimic . Since then i put the deck away and i've kept it laying around in a bag with some other random cards.

Now i've grown to miss that combo, but MTG and netdecking being what it is, it is not even close to being FNM-competitive anymore. For that reason, i've tried to make a semi-competitive modern deck out of my favorite Sidestep cards mixed with some general goodies known from other modern decks.

It won't take most FNMs, but i'll have a lot of fun with confused players asking where i found that deck and what those cards are.
