Made for a subscriber sunday reccomendation for SideboardMTG on youtube.Love janky combos? Then this deck is for you! For but a small price, you can have a competitive deck that is hard to beat. Main combo cards are Obelisk Spider and Nest of Scarabs and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, which either create bodies, or net you a gain of two life. Main win-cons are Overcome for when we have some of the token producers, and killing them with some of our bigger creatures like Crocodile of the Crossing and Ammit Eternal, which is quite easy considering how much removal we have. The whole deck is made up of normally good cards that are great with these two cards, putting it at a pretty good power level for a budget deck. For example, Ifnir Deadlands is practically a staple in black, but with one or more of our combo cards on the field, it's bonkers. Another good example is Channeler Initiate who is good with our combo pieces, and a good spot to put some -1/-1 counters for things like Lethal Sting. This deck is very fun, and never ceases to amaze me in how many outs there are in almost any given situation. When you have a deck with cards otherwise playable, but that have a downside, and then turn that downside into an upside,-and sometimes a major one-that's when you know it's a good deck.
