This is my first EDH deck. Black is my favorite MTG color and I love japanese culture and horror, so when searching for a cool black commander, Shirei really spoke to me. The reanimation of small creatures ability, where you can use mostly common and uncommon cards, also helped since I could start building the deck on a budget and use some of my old cards (I’ve played MTG when I was a teen, 20 years ago, and just started playing it again). Since a lot of Shirei’s abilities have a combo-ish feel to it, I’ve added a few cool combos to increase the deck’s power/interest and make it less dependent on Shirei being in the battlefield. This is not meant to be a competitive deck; its goal is just to do some interesting and twisted stuff (maybe even win!). As a personal note, I’ve added some cards with “improvise” since I actually improvise/act for a living. And as any improviser, I love getting suggestions, so feel free to help me out and get the deck to a balanced and fun place. I have a lot of cards in my maybeboard... 100 don't seem enough for this deck!

Here some of the combos I've considered: Exsanguinate + Magus of the Coffers + Umbral Mantle with 5 swamps in play / Exsanguinate + Magus of the Coffers + Sword of the Paruns with 5 swamps in play / Magus of the Coffers + Torment of Hailfire + Umbral Mantle with 5 swamps in play / Magus of the Coffers + Sword of the Paruns + Torment of Hailfire with 5 swamps in play = Infinite mana, infinitely large Magus of the Coffers and infinite drain of opponents.

Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void = Mill entire deck for 1 mana.

Necrotic Ooze + Phyrexian Devourer + Triskelion = Mill yourself and damage opponents with mana cost of cards.

Necrotic Ooze + Palladium Myr + Pili-Pala = Infinite mana
