This is my Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker Aristocrat Deck. Shirei was my first Commander and is still my favorite to this day! The Deck is build around gaining a lot of value sacrificing small creatures over and over again and slowly draining my opponents to death.

Why play Shirei?

• You like to play with cards that don't see play in any other deck.
• You like Aristocrats Decks, draining you opponent with Blood Artist and Co.
• You like doing stuff in your opponents Turns.

Weaknesses

One obvious weakness is the preventing of deathtriggers like Rest in Peace . (Also with Shirei Mimic Vat can prevent getting your small creatures back as well). Another weakness is that Shirei loses a lot of it's effectiveness when she isn't on the battlefield. So we try to protect her and we shouldn't play her if we can't make use of her right away. Oh, and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is pretty dangerous because it kills Shirei and alot of our creatures.

Synergistic plays and Combos

Fume Spitter 's and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician 's -1/1- counters are great to reduce the power of other creatures so Shirei can bring them back as well. So Solemn Simulacrum can come back every turn Ramping and drawing a card! Also Gray Merchant of Asphodel will drain our opponents over and over again!

Syr Konrad, the Grim is an absolute fantastic new inclusion, he triggers when a creature dies and again when it comes back. Dealing 2 damage every turn per creatures adds up quickly.

Mindless Automaton is one of the best cards, because we just need itself with Shirei and we get card draw every trun without needing anything else then these two.

Coretapper + Magistrate's Scepter is a possibility to get infinite turns! We tap Coretapper and place a charge counter on Magistrate's Scepter and then we sacrifice him with his ability and put the other two counters on it. Tap the Scepter and take the extra turn and you can do the same thing again, plus all other shenanigans. I didn't include this because I am not to interested in infinite combos in this deck. (And it is a slow winning process where the others just have to watch)
