Greetings

My name is Deathfeather and this is my creation. A commander deck themed around a lone samurai traveling many lands cutting down anyone in his path and meeting some strange people.The deck was inspired by the anime Samurai Champloo, and if you have not watched it, I would highly recommend. Well, without further adieu, let me show you what the deck can offer.

Strategy

The goal of the deck is to get Toshiro Umezawa on the board to start killing other creatures with kill spells. He allows you to recur instants when a creature is put into any opponents graveyard, so you can use a kill spell, then immediately use it or another instant in your graveyard again. I also included many ways to make him stronger via equipments and other buffs to that you can slightly voltron him and have him swing at people. Your main win conditions are going to be commander damage, and using a neat little combo if you ever get all the cards you need for it. the combo is Toshiro Umezawa , Oathkeeper, Takeno's Daisho and Ashnod's Altar along with Blood Artist for the damage. You equip the sword onto Toshiro and then sac him to the altar, draining an opponent for 1 with the artist and then the sword brings Toshiro back. Repeat for infinite damage. However, I am not the biggest fan of infinite combos and so this is the only one in the deck because I thought it would be funny and thematic.

Card Choice

Before you say the deck is not optimized, yes I know. I intended it to be a casual level deck that anyone can pick up and play and feel awesome, and also wanted it to be fun playing against. I dont like to end games quickly, so no tutors other than land ramp. Also wanted the deck to be not too expensive, so there are very few cards that break a light budget rule. I also put my favorite art in each card in specific, thats why all the lands are different. Gotta keep the theme of traveling to new lands!
