Here is my take on Aminatou! While I like the idea of top-deck manipulation for profit, I think that Aminatou’s strengths actually lie more with her second ability: Flickering (or Blinking)! In order to abuse this ability, I have chosen some choice ETB effects and a small super-friends sub-theme that actually ties in very well.

Please feel free to suggest cards (either to put in or take out) but I do have a pretty limited budget for new cards (this was pieced together with stuff I had around) so keep that in mind! Thanks!

The ability to play a strong ETB creature and immediately flicker it for no mana can be super powerful ( Panharmonicon has shown this). Playing Aminatou on three and then dropping Solemn Silumacrum with a -1 follow-up from Aminatou is a sublime start to any game! Want to reaminate two creatures (or four with Panharmonicon) with Phyrexian Delver ? Aminatou’s got you. Want to exile everything with Luminate Primordial or Ashen Rider ? Aminatou’s got you! Want to draw all the cards with Mulldrifter and its friend Cloudblazer ? Aminatou there for you!

Now, all of this is fun, but Aminatou’s -1 is not relegated to just creatures. You could, say, blink a Planeswalker! Not always beneficial, but it is not terrible to either just +1, blink, +1 Sorin, Grim Nemesis or something similar. How about wiping the big creatures with Elspeth, Sun's Champion , blinking it to reset its counters and +1 to create a swarm of tokens? All of this is fine and dandy, but where things get real crazy is when you look at the few superfriends support cards thrown in here: The Chain Veil , Oath of Teferi , and Deepglow Skate . The Chain Veil can be blinked to get extra activations but that is least of what these cards can do. Oath of Teferi comes stapled with its own blink effect for our ETB creatures and allows us 4(!) activations of a Planeswalker we blink with Aminatou. Deepglow Skate’s prowess has been proven time and again but is absolutely absurd here, when you can reliably get 2 or more ETB triggers any time you play it. If doubling the counters on your Planeswalkers seems good, try quadrupling them!

Anyway, this deck has been super fun in the limited playing I’ve done with it. It is both quite synergistic with great value to be had while also managing to be quite interactive and able to fight back after getting down at various stages in the game. Let me know if you like it!
