Description

Finally motivated myself to write the description! Woo.

Spirit Mirror is the Noble with Peace Talks and Isochron Scepter as the uncommons. I've been toying around with this idea ever since I picked up Mirror from a card shop awhile ago.

Time to dissect this beast:

Spirit Mirror a decidedly lovely card. Gives a (mostly) permanent 2/2 and the power to destroy reflections whenever you please.

Amoeboid Changeling and Shields of Velis Vel are the main combo. Turn enemy creatures into reflections, blast them away.

Peace Talks , Holy Day, and Safe Passage are the white fog. Buying time- Always fun.

Unsummon and Oblivion Ring. Get that monster off my field!

Ponder, Mana Leak, and Broken Ambitions the blue control. Broken Ambitions is actually one of my favorite counterspells; If you win, you win. If you lose, you win. If you don't win, you still win.

Mnemonic Wall a mediocre wall, but really shines to bring back instants that I can proceed to abuse with Isochron Scepter!

Oh yeah and Porcelain Legionnaire was put in when I had Enlightened Tutor uncommons, but I figured there's no reason to remove him. Nice and aggressive if you draw him.

Updates

-3 Journey to Nowhere , +3 Oblivion Ring Didn't realize it was uncommon

Now here's a mechanic i've never seen before.

Very cool deck, + 1

My only thoughts are:

what actually is your win condition? with only 4 creatures that do damage, you give your opponent lots of time to deal with them.

I would also try and add at least one more Spirit Mirror if possible. And 2 or so Enlightened Tutor 's to get them out, as the deck revolves around the one card.

Thanks for the compliment! The win condition is the 2/2 reflection token (as well as the 5 creatures). If all goes well it won't have any resistance hitting your opponent. Sure, it takes a while but I can keep the board clean with my other spells. In the Noble Format you're only allowed 1 rare card and 4 uncommons, so as much as I'd love to add in more Mirrors and Tutors, I can't!

Oh, cool. I was unfamiliar with the Noble Format. As I own a few Spirit Mirror 's myslef, and Shields of Velis Vel are dead cheap., I'm actually looking into a standard format deck surrounding this mechanic. Spirit Mirror and card:Cathars' Crusade make a pretty sweet combo.

I like that combo! A Paradox Haze might fit in nicely! Reformatting from noble to legacy is easy
