My attempt at a competitive Duel Commander Sharuum combo deck. I use this deck in a Duel Commander tourney setting, so the French ban list is in effect.

Given the speed and lack of emphasis on politics that Duel Commander entails, I was looking for multiple paths to set off the main combo.

Sharuum the Hegemon + Sculpting Steel/Clever Impersonator/Rite of Replication/ Copy Artifact /Mirrorpool/Vesuvian Doppelganger/Evil Twin sets up an infinite grave/retrieve effect that triggers Falkenrath Noble /Blood Artist/Disciple of the Vault/ Glassdust Hulk /Archbound Crusher to either ping the opponent or set up a one-punch kill.
I realize I still need Phyrexian Metamorph and Bitter Ordeal but have not acquired these yet.

There are a few tutors in place to find missing pieces and increase the likelihood of the combo coming together ( Skyship Weatherlight , Fabricate and Sphinx Summoner.

I also have some back-up combos so not all my eggs are in one basket:

Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Caltrops kills any attackers

Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Mycosynth Lattice/Liquimetal Coating kills off pesky opponent lands

Time Sieve + Thopter Assembly gives infinite turns (which can be reached through other, more complex routes)

Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek + lots of mana gives life and tokens or even more mana, depending on the pieces you have in place.

Rite of Replication + Myr Battlesphere + a bunch of mana yield potential for huge damage.

I am always looking for suggestions, as this deck is a work in progress. Several of the pieces make sense in my head, but if you know from experience or see something I don't know about, please feel free to comment.
