Rage Forger is the real hero of this deck. Play shamans as quickly as you can, find Rage Forger as quickly as you can, and pound face. Rage Forger gives each shaman a +1/+1 counter, then each creature with a counter also automatically deals 1 damage to your opponent during an attack. This card is what this deck attempts to utilize.

I've worked in some tribal synergies for this deck. Vanquisher's Banner, Mirror of the Forebears, Herald's Horn, and Stoneforge Masterwork are the biggies in this department. Shamans have some decent aggro capabilities and these other cards offer great support.

Next in line is graveyard recursion. Do not fear death because the shamans will return! Or Sek'Kuar will produce a new army of Graveborn tokens to exact revenge. Exhume, Oversold Cemetery, Undying Evil, and Victimize are the important cards in this category. I need to add a Deadbridge Chant to this deck, as well.

Since Rage Forger is so important, we need some search. Flamekin Harbinger, aside from being a shaman, is the primary route toward getting Rage Forger. Lifecrafter's Bestiary is a slow, subtle, but consistent digging mechanism. Jarad's Orders, Garruk, and Primal Command also fill this role. In the future, I would like to get more tutor cards for this deck. To encourage this deck to be quick and aggressive, I chose to take on a couple of the black card advantage cards. Arguel's Blood Fast is optional, but Phyrexian Arena is a firm commitment.

I included various cards to buff the shamans for maximum fury. Arlinn Kord, Bow of Nylea, Eternal Thirst, Rancor, Rubblebelt Raiders, Fangren Firstborn, and Bloodspore Thrinax are central here. Additionally, there are various cards to capitalize on the +1/+1 aspect of Rage Forger or some of the other +1/+1 creatures. These include Winding Constrictor, Hardened Scales, and Corpsejack Menace.

Ramp and Spot Removal are in place to speed up the deck or destroy nasty cards.

Finally, there's a tiny bit of mimicry in place. Tillonali's Skinshifter is fantastic in this capacity, since it can copy any creature. Copying Rubblebelt Raiders has been fantastic. Mirror of the Forebears is especially nice when it copies the Skinshifter, which then copies the Rubblebelt Raiders...I may include Flameshadow Conjuring and/or Kiki-Jiki, as well. If you can create more copies of Rage Forger then each creature you have with +1/+1 counters will deal an extra point of damage right off, to your opponent. So imagine three Rage Forgers in play--each creature with a +1/+1 counter, when it attacks, will deal three damage right off the bat. That gets my juices flowing.

I'm changing commanders and approach, to some extent. Sek'kuar is out because he doesn't fit the deck. He was really only the commander for the shaman flavor. Perhaps, someday, Wizards will produce an actual shaman commander.

The new commander will be Darigaaz Reincarnated. Darigaaz doesn't add much to the actual deck, but it is a big, angry dragon, and big, angry dragons are always an improvement.

As for the remainder of the deck, I doubled down on the idea of enchantments as an important component. I've now included some of the enchantresses to serve as engine. I've included various land enchantments for ramp. I've also worked in a number of the recursive enchantments for creatures.

As for the creatures, I changed things around a bit. The creatures are no longer purely shamans. A few, as mentioned, serve as engines, but I've also included a few creatures that can generate +1/+1 counters without assistance.

The deck still focuses on +1/+1 counters as a source of power. I still want this deck to be aggro-oriented. This thing is very much in flux right now.

Please review the card list, as a number of things have changed.
