Intro

This is my Karador deck, I have been playing it for a few years now and it's really fun, and very resilient. It has a strong matchup against a variety of different deck types, and ideally a win comes from a difficult to approach board state and continual removal. But the deck has several backup plans

Playing the deckThis is a reanimator deck, but it has large mana requirements on a regular basis. A solid hand contains 3+ lands and several spells. Try to get three colors first, and then strive to get 2-3 of each color. Cards in the dredge category are optimal to help get the most value out of all the cards. Life from the Loam as well as Golgari Grave-Troll can get lots of fuel in the graveyard quickly. Reanimate powerful creates from the yard to establish position .

Why play Karador?Karador is a powerful card in Abzan colors, and if played right, Karador will cost at all times. When he is in play, you can treat your graveyard like an extension of your hand. His ability allows you to capitalize and reuse strong enter the battlefield triggers as well as replay threats that ended in the graveyard.

Strengths

The deck can survive constant destruction/disruption. There are a tons of outs to most situations in various forms of removal and recursion. There are also various situations where a large, hard-to-answer creature could come into play and change a game drastically.

The deck can make a sandbox with the graveyard and play in it.

Weaknesses

Graveyard removal. :(
Bojuka Bog and Tormod's Crypt cause problems for the strategy of this deck, and should be watched for with caution. If you suspect an opponent has one or more of these cards, use caution and try to keep cards out of your graveyard. The deck can still win with it's graveyard exiled, depending on what is left in the library.

This deck is vulnerable (as most decks are) to combo.

This deck will also take a beating from aggro decks as well as "champion" and "voltron" generals, it does not have a strong short game. (The longer the game, the better this deck will fare)

conclusion

I am always open to your questions and comments, If you feel like I am missing something feel free to mention it. +1 if you like the deck.
