This is my Shalai deck that focuses on getting big angels out like Sephara, Sky's Blade or Lyra Dawnbringer and making them hexproof and indestructible. You know, only the good stuff.

I have ways to recur creatures should they die with Emeria Shepherd and Sun Titan, should you need to do so. Elvish Piper lets you get more creatures out, hopefully on someone's endstep, and if Shalai is out Elvish Piper is much safer and can do her job more reliably. There is a lot of removal and instants to protect Shalai and your other angels should they be a target.

Shalai is usually the first target they have to remove, so keeping out Saffi Eriksdotter to get her back from the graveyard is helpful, as well as Mother of Runes to protect her. Mirari's Wake and Hardened Scales to get Shalai's counter ability up ASAP and get it going twice as fast, which is basically how you're going to win with this deck.

For card draw, there is Well of Lost Dreams, which is a little costly, but if you can get Bishop of Wings out and an angel spell of just an angel token with Parhelion II or even Entreat the Angels, you can get a ton of cards pretty quickly. Soul of the Harvest works too, but is a bit slow as it doesn't count tokens. Karametra, God of Harvests also helps with thinning out the deck and getting more lands into play. I haven't tried it yet but she could probably function as a cool alternate commander if you wanted to swap Shalai out.
