Variants of the deck I just had fun thinking about - glad to hear opinions on these as well: Aetherborn Variant 1 (OGW-AKH), Aetherborn Variant 2 (KLD-AKH).

Decks of the like already exist on the platform. Nevertheless I applied changes and will track them here, since I very much like this refreshing tribe and the synergies that are most prominent in use with them.

  • This deck is utilizing the servo-counter-synergy that can best be fuelled by Syndicate Trafficker, Weaponcraft Enthusiast , Animation Module and Servo Schematic. (Not sure who came up first with this, I noticed it on the Mana Source's Youtube-channel. But no Metallic Mimic here for price reasons, sure I am keen on getting a playset.)
  • This deck wants to be cheap, let's say under $30.
  • It does want to be a tribal deck, not highly competitive but fun to play and not too easy to lose with. Nevertheless it's obvious how nice a Herald of Anguish can work here, if you have one why don't let it slip in.

Starting and running the business

Trafficker, Animation Module, 1/1 Servos and open mana are your friend. You only need a window to get the damage in. Hopefully Marauder will do. Otherwise you could get things out of your way with Grasp of Darkness or even Gifted Aetherborn, which will hopefully grant Yahenni a token from time to time too.

Besides that there are a few minor tricks available. Since you're flexible with your Weaponcraft Enthusiast you can adjust pretty nicely when to activate Yahenni or the Trafficker. You can get wide early and block him away, mid game maybe even benefiting in a card draw thanks to Midnight Entourage .

Metalspinner's Puzzleknot works ok for card draw from time to time, which I would like to have more of.

Next I'd like to look into consistency. I guess therefore it is needed to thin out the entourage and add insurances that we have 1/1 Servos, counters and are able to remove threats and not only to withstand them with indestructible. I'd like to pose a reliable threat with the Marauder too if he comes into play and get in a bit of carddraw.

Minor and major changes (not strictly upgrades)

I would call this a pool for Sideboard-cards. I mostly include removal and card draw since we're short on those.

Major changes following, these would need to evolve into more reliable ideas:

You're welcome to discuss some tuning possibilities of the deck!
