This Golgari flavoured deck tastes like sacrifice, dirt and (t)ramp[le]; all at a low low price of 3.30 CMC.

The star of this deck is Pathbreaker Ibex (and to an extent Overwhelming Stampede). I've ridden the G.O.A.T to victory on many occasions. Getting your hands on him out with Corpse Connoisseur, Fierce Empath or Traverse the Ulvenwald is fairly simple, however you still need a horde of smaller creatures and one powerful one make a killing blow. Getting there is the fun part and the payoff is a somewhat awkward combat step of 'yes they all have trample and a +6/6' as your opponent mass blocks the G.O.A.T only to see Meren drag it out of the graveyard, ready to finish off the next player.

Considering the above as your haymaker, the deck otherwise plays as you would expect a Golgari deck to play out. Filling the graveyard, ramping, sacrificing and reanimating. I've kept the CMC of the deck fairly low so you'll be playing more creatures than most which is always good fun. The creature base is honed to be synergistic to the Golgari cause of death and rebirth, they want to be sac'ed into things like Skullclamp, Altar of Dementia, Flesh Carver, Primal Growth, Dictate of Erebos, Eldrazi Monument or Mycoloth, with or without having Meren of Clan Nel Toth on the battlefield (although you do want her overseeing the process).

I've also put in Moment's Peace as you can be susceptible to blow back from killing an opponent as described above.

Alternate win con is to drain life so getting Blood Artist, Poison-Tip Archer, Massacre Wurm and Gray Merchant of Asphodel on the battlefield throughout the game can finish the job.

Protip: Birthing Pod is just a too good in terms of usefulness and I've considered its inclusion as an underlying build-around card. If you can drop this on curve, you're cheering mate.
