Serene Steward Pauper EDH

Pauper EDH*

Maybeboard

Every life you gain is a bane to your enemies.

Finally, a use for all those terrible white tap to gain life creatures. This deck suffers from draw, but not a lack of potency. Placing the counter on what ever creature you want makes Serene Steward better than Ajani's Pridemate (even with the extra cost to activate). This deck can get out of control and become a 'respond or die' deck. Lastly, since it's easy to play and focuses on life gain, it naturally has an affinity to newer players, as it makes sense to them, they love the life gaining mechanic, and it rewards them for gaining life.
