I took out the instant-kill combinations. When I first saw Heartless Hidetsugu played as a commander, the deck was designed with Hidetsugu functioning not as a single-shot mass player killer, but as a stalemate-breaking bludgeon designed to pressure opponents and make the damage race tighter. In the words of the pilot, "this is the closest thing to burn we get in EDH."

This is a weaker deck, for sure, but it won't cause the same feel-bad feeling as being wiped out in a single Overblaze-powered blast.
