The idea of this deck is to quickly ramp up to get strong creatures. It features several hydras and cards with x mana costs in order to take advantage of the large amounts of mana that will be available.

Cards like Hunted Troll and Lupine Prototype can be used to quickly get Selvala giving large amounts of mana. Umbral Mantle allows for potentially infinite mana, and who doesn't want infinite infinite/infinite hydras from Hydra Broodmaster?

Combos

Selvala + Umbral Mantle leads to infinite mana. Hunted Troll, Lupine Prototype, and Myr Superion can all be used to get Selvala giving huge amounts of mana early. Omnath, Locus of Mana can take advantage of the sheer amount of mana produced by Selvala, as well as all of the various hydras previously listed.
