Maybeboard

This deck was put on the back burner for a little while until the C17 spoilers spoiled a single card: Kindred Summons. The minute I saw that card I thought, Eldrazi. However, the question was, who would be best suited to command a deck that cheats Eldrazi Titan's onto the battlefield? This commander needed to both enable using Kindred Summons and allow me to still cast my massive beaters without the instant spell. Enter Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. Selvala checks all of the boxes need for this deck: 1) Provide significant mana ramp to hard cast my large creatures, 2) Directly benefit from said large creatures, and 3) Serve as a win-con in her own right. The deck is broken down below.

Main pieces

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds - The main mana engine of this deck. She also can be used to play politics due to her card draw ability.

Umbral Mantle or Sword of the Paruns - Slap either of these onto Selvala with either 1 (for the Mantle) or 2 (for the Sword) untapped Forests and let the mana flow

When needed, Karametra's Acolyte can step in for Selvala with either artifact to produce infinite mana.

Other Ramp

The rest of the deck's ramp package includes garden variety mana dorks and land tutors. Gyre Sage is worth mentioning as it can become pretty busted once evolved enough.

Ramp from our artifacts is pretty traditional for a mono-color deck.

I liken this deck to a choose-your-own-adventure book as there are so many different ways to end the game.

The Combos

With a suited up Selvala, Heart of the Wilds or Karametra's Acolyte we can use our endless mana to end the game in a number of ways.

1) Selvala, Heart of the Wilds or Karametra's Acolyte + either equipment + Helix Pinnacle = Pump tons of mana into the enchantment at your opponent's endstep and win on upkeep.

2) Selvala, Heart of the Wilds or Karametra's Acolyte + either equipment + Elderscale Wurm + Squall Line = Just wait till the blue mage is out of resources and then blast everyone away.

3) Selvala, Heart of the Wilds or Karametra's Acolyte + either equipment + Genesis Wave + Akroma's Memorial = Play your deck and go ham!

The Eldrazi Menace

This deck runs 7 massive eldrazi: Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Emrakul, the Promised End, Pathrazer of Ulamog, Artisan of Kozilek, and World Breaker. All of these eldrazi can end a game quickly, save for World Breaker. With the inclusion of Kindred Summons we can get all of them out onto the battlefield at instant speed on turn 7 under the best case scenario. Simply create eldrazi scion/spawn tokens via Awakening Zone, From Beyond, or Spawning Bed and cast Kindred Summons. Unfortunately we do not get the cast triggers off of the titans, but between their attacking abilities and giant P/T, we can still will make short work of opponents.

Traditional Beats

Sometimes the combos get stopped or just aren't there. In that case, this deck reverts back to what green does best, play large threats in the form of Worldspine Wurm, Omnath, Locus of Mana and their ilk to perform the beats. For the more hysterical win, dump all of your excesses mana into Killer Bees and swing for the win.

Removal

We have both huge creatures and ones capable of growing (I am looking at you Killer Bees and Scavenging Ooze) so Ulvenwald Tracker is a fantastic card here. The rest of the removal is traditional green stuff plus Nevinyrral's Disk.

Polukranos, World Eater can eat the entire board with enough mana.

We also pack plenty of enchantment and artifact removal.

Creature protection

Asceticism, Spearbreaker Behemoth, Lightning Greaves, and Swiftfoot Boots play the protection role.

Keyword Soup

Yeva, Nature's Herald gives our green meanies flash, Akroma's Memorial gives our board all of the keywords, and Nylea, God of the Hunt gives our board trample.

Creature Tutors

This is mono-green, so we want ways to quickly find and cheat in our big green powerhouses. Green Sun's Zenith, Chord of Calling, Fierce Empath, Kindred Summons, and Woodland Bellower all play this role.

Other Tutors

But why limit ourselves to just tutoring for creatures? This deck has multiple win-cons so it would behoove us to be able to tutor up any useful permanent. This is where our explosive mana output plus Genesis Hydra or Genesis Wave comes into play. The deck also runs Planar Portal for additional permanent tutoring.

Card Advantage

Pure draw spells include Greater Good, Momentous Fall, and Shamanic Revelation. Each of these draw spells play well off of having large creatures on the board.

Other cards like Lifecrafter's Bestiary, Zendikar Resurgent, a flipped Nissa, Vastwood Seer  , and Selvala herself can help provide additional card draw.
