Sideboard

This is the non-Budget (but still pretty cheap) version of another Token Deck I made. It's a very competitive deck that can perform in both an aggressive mannar, in the early game, and in a slightly more conservative mannar in the mid-game. Extremely fun strategy overall, and easy to pilot, too. I highly recommend this deck to newcomers to the Modern format, as its both inexpensive to build and is tough to beat. The meachnic that we, obviously, abuse in this token deck is Populate. In combination with Parallel Lives, creating an immense board presence is easy. To ramp, we can employ Cryptolith Rite, however I would suggest only boarding this card in following the first game as this deck is quick enough to overwhelm most opponents. In terms of lands, the base is pretty simple: We utilize our fetches to find the shock lands we need. Don't ever feel like you can't play them untapped as you have life gain in the form of Elspeth, Trostani and some other handy cards in the board, too. In terms of strategy, it's very basic. Play your Birds of Paradise turn one, otherwise don't ever mess up your tempo with this card. Next, you're looking to play some kind of a two drop, like Voice or Call, or even the likes of Lingering Souls. Just put out a board presence early in the game, don't ever ovoid confrontation. Then, you'll be looking to drop your vitally important Parallel Lives turn 3. In the 3rd turn, if you can drop it, never hesitate! Otherwise, you're looking for an Intangible Virtue plus a Wake the Reflections. Turn 4, you're looking to put pressure on the opponent. Your curve is literally built around constructing wins on this very turn, so you won't find trouble playing something impactful. To finish off the game, there are several combinations. Just combine your token pieces with a Hero, Elspeth or something else listed below. If you haven't won the game past turn 6-7, you're most likely starting to lose the game. In this instance, play as conservatively as possible, hold on to your instant speed tricks, like Rootborn Defences, and hope you can possibly find a win con such as Devout Invocation.Basically, that's the plan. It's very straight forward, so just enjoy the stampede of creatures that will wipe away your opponents in 5-6 turns! And remember, the Conclave is watchzing. Do the G/W family proud!!
