This deck looks to slow our opponent down using Root Maze as early as possible. We then look to make casting spells even more difficult with Trinisphere, Thorn of Amethyst, and Lodestone Golem. We also want to apply a Hokori, Dust Drinker as quickly as possible to really hamper our opponent even more. Ghostly Prison is an inclusion to help us against aggro matchups.

We use Arbor Elf in conjunction with Utopia Sprawl and Fertile Ground to help make our mana generation much higher than our opponent who will either have lands enter the battlefield tapped, or will only be untapping 1 land per turn.

Our win condition is in the form of Steel Hellkite, which we can tutor for via Kuldotha Forgemaster.
