Selesnya Heroic Inspiration

The Heroic deck I made on my own was no match for the other players in my local modern league. So I'm taking some lessons from the Naya Heroic Modern deck that won a tournament a while ago and using them to help improve my deck(https://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/instant-deck-tech-heroic-naya-modern). The basic perameters are: nothing over converted mana cost two, have things to improve drawing (I'll also be using some scry), and fill most of the sideboard with removals. I haven't tested this deck yet, so I can't say how the adjustments from the source deck make this one differ, but it will definitely be less aggressive (being without red spells) but have more in regards to defence, especially against removal spells (with extra protection spells). Hopefully the changes will prove adequate in modern leagues.

Updates Add

it seems to me if you are trying to go heroic some more Hardened Scales could be pretty useful. Path to Exile is great modern removal for white, deals with all sorts of problems, I would mainboard a few. Card draw could be Wall of Omens, a body to block and it replaces itself. Good luck with it!

Maybe Apostle's Blessing instead of Gods Willing for when you only have a green mana open. Also maybe Vanguard of Brimaz over Akroan Skyguard.

@cmrsDPM Thanks, I've definately thinking of adding Apostle's Blessing in case I go up against artifact decks, and the one colorless and 2 life would provide flexibility. Though God's Willing's scry certainly helps in regards of getting cards I want, while also providing protection, which is why I'm considering Sheltering Light. Though with Vanguard of Brimaz, the strategy of this deck is to make creatures big with +1/+1 counters and swing for massive damage, though mixing Vanguard of Brimaz with Phalanx Leader could prove a good combo.

Selesnya Charm would fit nicely in this deck. Gives you great flexibility and I'd recommend putting at least 2 in your deck. Also, I know Felidar Umbra is in your sideboard, but unfortunately its not modern legal (I wish it was!).

As someone who loves running spicy homebrew decks, I love fun interactions and surprising my opponent. However, this deck reads like a more boring infect. Less explosive, they have effectively double the life total, and no unblockable. What makes this deck more fun to play, or if its not, what makes it even more fun as a budget alternative? Not trying to shut you down, but infect plays similar cards and can win turn 2, and even budget versions seem more fun and interesting.
