This is a deck that I am going to build and play once BFZ rotates in. I had ran another G/W heroic deck with +1/+1 counters during the last go around and had some good success with it and I am hoping to duplicate that success again. Here is the breakdown of the creatures...

Warden of the First Tree - A good 1 drop that scales well with power and toughness and is a good mana sink late game. The third ability putting 5 +1/+1 counters works really well with Hardened Scales .

Servant of the Scale- Another good 1 drop that comes into play with a counter. Also synergizes with Scales and gives counters when it dies.

Avatar of the Resolute Excellent 2 drop. GG won't be hard to hit T2, and he is a great early game threat and an even better late game bomb when I have a field of creatures with counters on them. Trample is great to offset chump blocking, and reach helps defend against fliers.

Managorger Hydra I expect this guy to grow fast! Trample is also great on this, running extra damage over blockers early game. His ability makes playing 1 drops late game a relevant thing...

Undergrowth Champion Included as a 2 of, I am not sure how well he will work. I have read people not liking his ability, but with the amount of retrieving I have in this deck (in the form of Evolving Wilds and Windswept Heath) hitting landfall triggers shouldn't be too hard.

Oran-Rief Hydra Also a 2 of, this guy is a monster. Play this card then drop an Evolving Wilds or Windswept Heath to pull a basic forest or Canpoy Vista leads to some serious counters being added. More so if Scales or Retreat to Kazandu are out.

Now for the enchantments...

Hardened Scales Pretty straightforward. With 4 copies, I am almost guaranteed to get 1 out per game and it helps everything in the deck grow.

Retreat to Kazandu Just like Scales, this helps my creatures grow. Landfall triggers shouldn't be too hard, and I always have the ability to gain life if I find that I have fallen behind.

Spell Package

Dromoka's Command Auto include as a 4 of, I will use this card mostly for its ability to put a counter on a creature and for pseudo removal with its fight mode. In a pinch I can use it to stop a burn spell or to make an opponent sac an enchantment like Thopter Spy Network .

Feat of Resistance Gives a creature protection and a counter, sign me up!

Center Soul Same as Feat minus the counter. Rebound lets me cast it a second time for free.

Valorous Stance use as either spot removal or to make one of my creatures indestructible.

The land base is pretty straightforward. Evolving Wilds and Windswept Heath allow for mana fixing and help with landfall triggers, especially with Heath being able to pull Canopy Vista. The ratio of forests is higher than plains to satisfy the forest landfall clause of the Oran-Rief Hydra .

Sideboard- This is where I need some help. Right now the only card that I have in the side is Inspiring Call to keep my guys alive in a board wipe situation, however, I predict my local meta to use more of a -x/-x Languish style board wipe over something like Planar Outburst . I do expect Eldrazi ramp decks to exist so maybe run some Lithomancer's Focus ? I might run Hallowed Moonlight if token strategies stay relevant, and depending on how aggro things get I might consider running either Stasis Snare and/or Quarantine Field. The double white shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Updates Add

So after doing some more testing I have decided to officially drop the 2 copies of Oran-Rief Hydra in favor of Woodland Wanderer. I ran some numbers and tested for consistency and found that the Wanderer comes into play 2 turns faster and almost as big as the Hydra. In order to make the most use of both the Wanderer's converge ability, and the converge portion of Infuse with the Elements I added 1 Prairie Stream, 1 Cinder Glade, and 1 Swamp. The Stream and the Glade are both fetchable with Windswept Heath and I can grab a swamp with an Evolving Wilds. I find that the swamp isn't totally dead in the deck as I can always use the black mana to activate the abilities of Warden of the First Tree. By the time the Wanderer comes out on turn 4 he usually comes into play with 3 if not 4 counters on him...more if a Scales is in play. I honestly feel that the vigilance coupled with trample makes him a more versatile threat than Oran-Rief.
