This is a budget build, seeking to play a bit differently while utilizing lesser-seen and inexpensive cards.
The deck is very much still a concept, so it's likely to change and I'm open to comments and suggestions.
The picks that might be most likely to get changed are Pressure Point and Territorial Hammerskull. I like the overall tap-down theme of the deck, but some other options might fit better or get more value.
Key players are Narnam Renegade and Aetherstorm Roc. The deathtouch of the Renegade has proven effective at frustrating non-flying attackers, so Act of Heroism should keep them in play at all times and keep the enemy on their toes. Renegade Rallier should be able to pull the Narnam Renegade back to play but the deck might need a reliable way to trigger revolt for it to be worthwhile.
Deadlock Trap seems like a great answer to many of the bigger threats like The Scarab God, Glorybringer, and as a response to the hexproof ability of Bristling Hydra if you run removal from the sideboard. Edit: I have now learned that using the deadlock trap in response to an ability doesn't mean the ability doesn't happen, so it's less useful than I thought and I might pull it.
The win condition will most likely be the Aetherstorm Roc, which is supported by cards like Animation Module and Maulfist Revolutionary.
Bishop of Rebirth just seems like a value card, but could be swapped out for other options.
I'm never sure how to balance the lands for my deck, and I would love any sideboard suggestions for matchups like Ramunap Red or anything. Thanks.
