Sek'kuar Apostle combo deck based around Razaketh, the Foulblooded allowing you to fetch up Cryptolith Rite and Bloodbond March . Once these cards are in play you can tap Sek'kuar's Graveborn tokens for mana and sacrifice them to Razaketh to create a big enough loop of Shadowborn Apostle death triggers, allowing you to swing for lethal damage from the Graveborn tokens.

This is a 1-turn wincon, so this is a competitive EDH list. Everything else in the list is designed to aid in this strategy, either by getting the combo out faster or by protecting our pieces once we become the biggest threat on board.

Once Razaketh, the Foulblooded hits play, you'll become the Archenemy, and there ain't no use in politicing your way out of it, so strap in! You can tutor for any card in your deck at instant-speed, and with Bloodbond March + Cryptolith Rite giving you tonnes of mana, your ability to protect your combo from the multitude of removal spells you'll be facing is all down to what you choose to tutor for and when.

Crop Rotation is an unsung hero in the deck, as it lets your tutor Flash-enabling lands such as Emergence Zone difectly into play, meaning that your otherwise Sorcery-speed answers to targetted removal (such as Asceticism ), counter magic ( Vexing Shusher ), or perhaps a prison deck Purphoros, God of the Forge ) can come in at the drop of a hat!

Otherwise, we have a suite of removal spells with Dictate of Erebos , Windgrace's Judgement and Casualties of War , and redundant effects that can come in when Sek'kuar is unavailable, such as Ogre Battledriver + Open the Graves or Hammer of Purphoros + Sifter of Skulls pairing to create a facsimile of our Commander's hasty token generation upon creature death.

In the event we don't go hard into an early Razaketh + Sek'kuar combo-kill, we have carddraw spells like Beast Whisperer , and more reasonable removal-Demons in Pestilence Demon and Demon of Dark Schemes to help us keep up with our opponent's more balanced decks.

Razaketh's cost to pay 2 life to tutor spells can do some real damage to us over time, so Blood Artist and Essence Warden are here to keep our lifepoints in the green.
