Sedris' Tyranny EDH

Artifact (1)

Sedris reanimates heavy hitters with strong ETB effects (Aggro/Combo).

Background

This is actually the second version of sedris that I put together and, while the first was very similar to this one, I never saved the decklist and had to rebuild from memory (The first one was retired at the end of the ravnica block).

The first deck was ALL about ETB flickers, cheating unearth, and using the same Buried Alive combo to win over and over (and over). Needless to say, I got sick of it and only had fun when the deck didn't go off.

This time, Theros and C13 have come and given me some new toys to play with, and remaking my deck allowed me to make a few changes. Most of it is unchanged, and the general balance of the deck relatively similar. This time, I ditched most of my low power ETB creatures in favor of creatures with better offensive capabilities...

...and no Buried Alive.

What Does This Deck Do?

Simply put, this is a balanced combo/aggro reanimator deck, with the ability to play however I feel like playing it in any given game. This deck does NOT have tutors to railroad into a combo to win. Tutors gum up the gears for this kind of deck, which would rather have you dump cards into your graveyard en masse. The few that remain mostly for mana ramp (Trinket Mage, Wayfarer's Bauble, and Solemn Simulacrum. Rune-Scarred Demon remains by merit of being a 6 power flying creature and good target for flickers and copy effects).

If you want a lot of ETB combos, this deck can do it. If you want to swing for game in one turn, this deck can do it. If you want to sit back and not draw hate, there are lots of fun little combos to spice up the game. However, this deck relies more on brute force than precise control, and gives you only limited options to deal with many of the threats you will face from other decks.

I am always looking for ways to improve this deck without making it too expensive or compromising its enjoyment factor, so comments and suggestions welcome.
