The idea behind this deck is to ramp into the Ob Nixilis, Unshackled + search combo piece: Fertilid, Scheming Symmetry, Field of Ruin and Maralen of the Mornsong.

Since Black is poor for ramp in modern, I added some green to help with the ramp in the form of Elves of Deep Shadow, Elvish Mystic, Cultivate and hopefully some black ramp with Crypt Ghast.

Early protection is provided by the Deathtouch creatures: Vampire of the Dire Moon, Deadly Recluse and Vampire Nighthawk.

Spot removal in the form of Erebos's Intervention and Putrefy.

Life gain with Lifelink creatures, Extort and the aforementioned Erebos's Intervention.

Added an alternate wincon with Army of the Damned.

Diabolic Tutor to help find what you need.

For mana, basic Swamps and Forests are all you really need with the Elves and Cultivates, but the Woodland Cemetery are fairly cheap and reliable if you care to spend the extra few bucks. Overgrown Tomb would be even better if you care to spend the $$$ since it works with Crypt Ghast.

NOTES:

Sol Ring is just for play testing.
My play group only allows 1 Scheming Symmetry, otherwise I'd probably use more.
