This is a dragon tribal EDH deck I made for a dear friend of mine, her two favorite things in the world are dragons and Avatar, the last airbender. When I looked at the creature types of Scion of the Ur-Dragon, there was really no choice. It had to be made.

It was made out of stuff I had lying around, minus the Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, the only copy of which in my possession was a Conflux NM foil. There are certain things I just can't bring myself to do.

Anyway, the basic idea is to stack a crapton of Scion's abilities, and then reanimate all the dragons. Even for a pretty budget deck that I didn't tune almost at all, it works wonders on my playgroup. However, she's rather new to magic and doesn't know what she should do to improve it. And frankly, neither do I, other than more expensive lands. Which she's also not worried about. So any suggestions would be wonderful!

Pretty much the first transformation/reanimation is Dragon Mage. Because not having cards sucks big time. One of the most fun things you can do is pay 4 mana, and stack 2 of Scion's ability to get first Bladewing the Risen and second Teneb, the Harvester, so Scion becomes a copy of Teneb. Then you connect with Scion, pay the 2B, get Bladewing from the yard, and with his ETB get Teneb from the yard. Dragons. Everywhere.
