Maybeboard

Considering everyone in the group I play with frequently has their own "thing" (someone has an elf deck, another has goblins, another has merfolk, etc.), I was inspired to make one. Had some help on this one as well. I choose rats because one of the first games of Magic I ever played was against a rat deck.

Anyways, onto the deck. This deck was either made to kill someone with a giant Pack Rat by using Marrow-Gnawer or Ogre Slumlord to populate the field with Rat tokens (or just having a lot of rats on the field), or to make them constantly discard with Mind Rot, Mind Shatter , and Duress/ Distress / Despise so they can't play anything (and potentially take damage if Liliana's Caress or Shrieking Affliction is on the field). If you can also get Exquisite Blood onto the field while Liliana's Caress or Shrieking Affliction is there as well, you can get some pretty good sustainability for long 1-on-1's or multiplayer games. Ogre Slumlord and Marrow-Gnawer also give all rats deathtouch and fear which is nice to have.

To add a bit of removal and regeneration, Hero's Downfall (or for a close, but not as good, substitute for those on a budget: Murder) allows for straightforward removal and Tragic Slip allows for more removal if something dies that turn. Another perk that Tragic Slip provides is the ability to remove up to a 13/13 indestructible from the board since it gives -x/-x instead of destroying the creature. Swarmyard allows for the regeneration of a rat which is pretty awesome, but there's only two in the deck because they're kind of pricey.

Updates Add

Added a few more card options into the Maybeboard that would allow for some more draw power (Gravepurge (which also allows for bringing back sacrificed rats), Nighthaze (situational)).
