Steppe Lynx, Akoum Hellhound, Plated Geopede, Valakut Predator and Brushfire Elemental all have the same landfall trigger which helps keep track of things. Rancor pushes us through, Zektar Shrine Expedition punishes decks with no interaction. Groundswell and Crop Rotation + Sejiri Steppe punishes the ones that do.

Sejiri Steppe and Smoldering Spires also get fetched by Scapeshift to prevent our opponent from having blocks on our alpha strike.
