This is a Modern love letter to mono-white Legacy Stax. Janky as hell, but consistent enough to win an occasional FNM match.

Damping Sphere has inspired me to dust this old brew off, seeing as, before, it had little hope v. impossible-to-tax Tron matchups. Also, RIP Trinisphere .

Play Culling Scales to chew threw opponents' permanents. When they have no permanents, target Ichor Wellspring , or target Darksteel Ingot to keep Scales from eating itself.

Ghostly Prison + Magus of the Tabernacle + Storage Matrix makes for a good lock v. most anything that runs creatures. Finish with Metalwork Colossus , which can often be played at no cost.

Currently considering Baird, Steward of Argive for mainboard... or possibly a Fall of the Thran ; great synergy with both Darksteel Citadel + Crucible of Worlds .
