I want to be able to make Varolz as big as possible with the scavenge effect, as well as keeping him alive by sacrificing creatures. Sacrificing creatures also enables the scavenge effect. This is the obvious part of the card. What I want to do is put huge creatures in the graveyard to scavenge and try to win with commander damage as fast as possible. Another Possibility is to make the infect creatures large, and get to 10 poison counters as quickly as possible.
