Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant Budget

Commander / EDH Budget Combo Ramp Tokens

A budget version of a Sasaya deck, can be upgraded with more creature tutors, and a few of the green staples that are missing, Also snow-coverd lands and Scrying Sheets. The goal of this deck is to get 7 lands in your hand then cast a spell or creature with all the mana you can make, normally resulting in an army of tokens. This deck struggles against discard but most other match-ups are manageable, control can give it some problems because this is an all in type deck, where if you don't get your big spell to resolve, you are stuck with a hand full of lands.

Have you considered Leyline of Lifeforce against control? Also, if you want to put a bit of money into the deck, Garruk Wildspeaker , Nissa, Worldwaker , Oracle of Mul Daya , Omnath, Locus of Mana , Terravore (I imagine that you get a few lands into the graveyard with this deck), and Dungrove Elder would be awesome additions to the deck. If you're staying budget, maybe pick up one or two of them after playtesting with them for a bit.

I find that making tokens is generally better than having a big creature like Dungrove Elder or Omnath, Locus of Mana , and I try to keep the list as trimmed down as I can so that I can maximize the number of lands in the deck, Leyline of Lifeforce seems interesting for the deck because counters are one of the few things you will worry about (that and enchantment removal because targeted removal will not work if you have 7 lands in your hand) but its inclusion would be down to a metagame choice. I have tried Oracle of Mul Daya before in my non budget version and it is good because it it allows for playing lands from the top of your deck and not your hand so it and Courser of Kruphix are both good in this deck. I think I need to retry Oracle of Mul Daya and Horn of Greed in my nonbudget deck because it has gone over some major changes. Thanks for your suggestions Mirrid

Hi there, you posted this deck in a Reddit thread a month or so ago, and I just wanted to ask what an average game with it looks like? Especially in the crazy high-paced meta that is MTGO 1v1.
