What is a Saproling? A Saproling is a plant based creature that is none aggressive by nature. They tend to travel in packs and when aggravated they attack in large numbers to over power the threat. They tend to multiply quickly and some times will sacrifice each other for temporary gains of strength and fortitude. Even after being completely destroyed, in some cases they have been known to come back seeming in the blink of an eye. Some creatures of the forest have also been seen caring for and tending to Saprolings to help them thrive and in some cases beat back possible threats.

So this is my Saproling EDH deck it is extremely fun and brings a smile to everyones faces, when they realize that they have been beaten by a plant army! There are a few combos in this deck but the main combo is listed below. Be aware that 40 tokens is not enough!!

Earthcraft + mana doubler + Nemata, Grove Guardian + Token doubler = infinite tokens and mana

Now to be fair the deck really doesnt do much early game. But it does recover from board wipes and enchantment and artifact hate. The ramp is fairly solid but could use a little bit of work in regards to filtering. This deck is great for a few reasons:

1. Always have something to do- Even if you have drawn your 6 land in a row, it just means more Saprolings.

2. When you miss land drops- Even when you miss land drops you can always just make Saprolings.

3. If you dont draw creatures- So your only getting lands and enchantments? No problem cast Nemata, Grove Guardian and start making tokens!!!

The best starting hand people can hope for since having around 3-4 land since most of the cards in the deck are fairly cheap to cast it just makes it so you can start playing things ASAP. This deck normally combos out around turn 8-9, I have had as early as 4 but that was a god hand with god draws.
