Sideboard

Treefolk tribal with a splash of Dryads and Plants focusing on Green's ramp with a splash of: GW Life gain, GB Recursion, and BW removal.

I chose Doran over the Sapling of Colfenor because I like the color white and it allowed for some great supplementary cards such as Trostani, Selesnya's Voice and Kindred Boon.

Traditional tribal cards such as Coat of Arms were forsaken in favor of Leyline of Vitality and other cards that focused explicitly on toughness (also because I'm cheap).

I seem to throw recursion into most decks so I'm not sure if it really fits here but I thought it best to have more than just one Deadwood Treefolk.

Lastly, the two plants, Tree of Redemption and Tree of Perdition, both have interesting and potentially helpful abilities (especially perdition which can act as a gain/drain check or as a group hug benefit). However they were mainly chosen because they'll be 13/13s for a CMC of 4, which is fantastic even if they have defender.
