When she fought in the Five Trials of Amonkhet, Samut was a legend among her crop - their fastest, strongest, and most revered warrior.

When the plane of Amonkhet stood before its Hours, Samut had the courage to speak the truth of their past; to speak out against the very gods she hoped to save, no matter the cost.

When the Hours came, Samut stood with her people; stood against unkillable gods and a dragon aeons old. Samut stood, and led the survivors of her plane to resist the devastation from their God-Pharaoh.

Now, Samut still stands with her people, a defiant leader and voice of truth amidst the ruins of their home.

Samut, the Revelator is a deck that follows a legendary warrior as she leads an army of survivors against all odds. Strong creatures, powerful exertion effects, and weapons to empower the commander are the keys of this deck.

• Voltron-style strategies to overload Samut herself into a juggernaut to take players out with direct commander damage, and reinforcing spells to make sudden gut-punching assaults.
• Making the most of powerful exertion effects, while using other cards and abilities to untap exerted creatures earlier and easier than usual to avoid the drawbacks.
• Building to an army of powerful creatures that share their strength in sudden, decisive onslaughts.
• Summoning cards to bring powerful planeswalkers to the field and keep them protected while they work.

This is my first ever commander deck, and has already gone through a few iterations as I mixed and matched various ideas together to follow the concept of Samut. Though it's not perfect, it's a real pride of mine! Any comments or suggestions are welcome! :)
