Modern player's losing to pauper decks get so salty losing to a card like Brainstorm . No excuses, here's a Modern legal pauper deck to generate enough salt for the whole pala-pala!

The BIG fish <>< Show

We got a zombie-fish, a human-wizard-insect-fish looking-thing, a merfolk-fish wizard and a damn spirit to avenge his delicious bretheren!

• Delver of Secrets  : There's a bug on your food! The multiformat all-star here to take this deck to multiple top 8's.

• Gurmag Angler : BIG BOI ZOMBIE-FISH, essentially the 5th-8th 1 drop beater as filling the yard is about as easy as making these modern players grunt at your wide arrey of delicacies. "EXTRA RICE PLEASE!"

• Augur of Bolas : The merefolk that fishes you more juicy spells.

• Stormbound Geist : Removal hurts, but this guy stays even after the buffet!

We only play fair magic here. Timeto say NO! to some of the nasty spells people pack.

• Mana Leak : Basically Counterspell with the added bonus of being able to ask if they can pay 3.

• Deprive : Counter all at the cost of well.. pretty much nothing really. Bonus points for making people feel safe once they hit 3 extra mana. Extra salty serve please.

Passing time and Netting them down Show

I heard Time Walk was a good card, we have some good modern legal substitutes right here alongside some light creature removal!

• Vapor Snag : Played well it's Time Walk for 1 mana and a ping!

• Unexplained Disappearance : Bounce a creature, fix draw Or fill the yard? sounds like a dream to me.

• Gigadrowse : Later into the game bounce doesnt do a very good imitation of extra turns. early mid or late this will find a way.

• Echoing Decay : one of the few black spells in the deck, not cast too often but dealing with weenies or Lingering Souls can be hella annoying.

• Curse of Chains : I love Pacifism effects. The creature isnt dead, its just there. watching. being useless.

Fishing for Answers Show

Got to go deep into the waters to find what you need.

• Serum Visions : Goes far into even the world's deepest lakes for answers. Sorcery speed is the drawback but it flips delver like no other!

• Thought Scour : This is your bucket of worms to catch some early Gurmag Angler s. Use them up fasttt!

• Opt : Does the least but instant speed keeps em guessing!
