Introduction

Thanks for taking a look at this deck! The goal is to cast artifacts and ramp into some big Alien/Eldrazi/Robots. If this doesn't work, you can try to win the game with some combos or an alternate win condition. Feel free to leave suggestions, comment, and upvote if you like this deck!

Deck Description Show

This deck is artifact matters. The goal is to play plenty of artifacts for a good board state, eventually using any of the ramp necessary to cast big creatures or search for fun artifact combos. Many of the support cards deal with giving you plenty of extra colorless and colored mana, or even lessening the casting cost of your spells. There is also a small subtheme of copying your artifacts and other creatures as well, but that is mostly for the sake of maximizing the value of your cards. Saheeli's second ability will be utilized quite a lot in this deck, but there are other ways of ramping into your eldrazi and robo titans.

The endgame plan is to swing with a couple large creatures for massive damage, or use the synergy of your artifacts to destroy all lands for a board shut down, obtain infinite mana, steal all artifacts, or create infinite thopters.

Artifact Ramp and Color Fixing: Show

Artifacts are usually pretty good at creating extra mana, so we will use this aspect of the card type to do just that. Cards Like Commander's Sphere or Mind Stone will allow us to cast bigger artifacts more quickly. Izzet Signet, Vessel of Endless Rest, and Gilded Lotus can help fix our mana if we are lacking the correct colors. Cards like Blinkmoth Urn, Dreamstone Hedron, and the previously mentioned Gilded Lotus can create a lot of mana to accelerate into some fun cards later on. Lastly, Mycosynth Lattice is a card that technically works to mana fix everyone, but be careful when playing it for non-combo reasons. It could be used against you if an opponent has mass artifact destruction.

Card Draw: Show

Drawing cards is big part of any deck. For this deck, it is easy to find yourself with an empty hand and no way to play anymore spells. This is no good, but to remedy the situation, you should play cards like Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, Padeem, Consul of Innovation, and Sai, Master Thopterist. There are also some cards to be drawn with Thopter Spy Network, Dreamstone Hedron, Mind Stone, Tamiyo's Journal, and Geier Reach Sanitarium. One card that works great with a lot of mana or less casting cost via Saheeli is Stroke of Genius. With infinite mana, this cards basically wins the game, or at least draws your whole library, which is always fun to do.

Nifty Utility: Show

The cool thing about needing a lot of colorless mana is that your lands can have more utility than they normally would if you wanted more mana fixing. Combine this with the interesting abilities of our artifacts and spells and we can be very versatile in a game. Several cards allow us to copy our artifacts or other permanents, such as Saheeli's Artistry, Mirage Mirror, Mirrorworks, and a couple other cards. There are plenty of spells in this deck that allow us to search for cards we want. Cards like Fabricate and Tamiyo's Journal. Token generators are also found in this deck, like the new Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer. There are a lot of different utilities in this deck, some cards copying abilities, other cards making things indestructible, wiping the board of creatures, taking more turns, etc..... Always be on the lookout for useful things you can do, cause this deck has plenty of ways to stay interesting.

Removal and Boardwipes: Show

A good deck always needs a way to remove pesky cards from the battlefield. For us, we only have a few cards, such as Duplicant, Steel Hellkite, Chaos Warp. As for boardwipes, this deck runs Nevinyrral's Disk and Blasphemous Act. This might seem like not a lot, but there also exists the abilities found on the eldrazi, such as Annihilator and exiling things when they are cast. These abilities will help us overcome the few removal spells we have, a definite weakness of the deck.

Eldrazi and Titans: Show

Some of these cards I have been meaning to put into a commander deck for some time, but I never found a way to do it. Now with Saheeli, the Gifted, I finally have an excuse to run my big eldrazi and colorless creatures. Playing with big, expensive, and epic creatures makes this deck so much fun to play. Casting one of the eldrazi titans and swinging for big damage and crazy removal feels really good in a deck full of small tokens and wacky synergy. When given the chance to search for a combo piece or a large titan, I find myself going for the titan more often with this deck. It can make the game more fun to forgo getting a combo and try to win with these creatures, but of course only you know your playgroup, so choose wisely. Here are the big creatures: Ancient Stone Idol, Platinum Angel, It That Betrays, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Blightsteel Colossus, Void Winnower, and Wurmcoil Engine.

Combos and Synergies: Show

Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer + Tamiyo's Journal + many tokens and mana - You can turn your tokens into clues or your clues into small creatures to attack

Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer + Mirrorworks and/or Mechanized Production - Instant win or just really good value on your best artifacts

Grand Architect + Pili-Pala - Infinite mana

Whirler Virtuoso + Decoction Module + Gonti's Aether Heart or Panharmonicon + Gonti's Aether Heart - Infinite Thopters and energy

Decoction Module + March of the Machines + Infinite mana - You can blink and recast the Decoction Module infinitely, which could possibly allow you to do other things, like draw your whole deck, make infinite energy, etc.

Mycosynth Lattice + March of the Machines - This will destroy all lands and hopefully allow you to stay ahead with excessive artifact ramp.

Darksteel Forge + Nevinyrral's Disk - Keep your artifacts safe while getting rid of the opponents stuff, and you get to keep the disk for more activations

Hellkite Tyrant + Mycosynth Lattice - Usually can win just by yourself, but if not, steal your opponents whole board
