So you are probably thinking, why Young Wolf? Well, it's a chump blocker and great food for Rapid Hybridization and Beast Within (which can also be used to remove those pesky flyers or turn the companion part of Bear's Companion into slightly more useful 3/3) Simic Charm can bounce Bear's Companion and buff creatures like Dragon Broodmother, who is the deck's end game. Talrand and Young Pyromancer are there to synergize with the token generating cards, Simic Charm, and Druid's Deliverance. Parallel Lives + RH or BW mans you can turn one of your 1/1 tokens into two or more 3/3 tokens.
