A really, REALLY rough draft of an (in all likelihood) really, REALLY bad Midrange deck that abuses As Foretold and Dreadhorde Arcanist as ways to cheat out cards like Ancestral Vision and Crashing Footfalls alongside other tools. The deck doesn't really compare in design to a lot of other decks out there (the closest is Monkey Grow, but this deck doesn't have as much synergy with the graveyard and also less countermagic). While not necessarily competitive, this deck is something I'd like to take to an FNM-type event and perform reasonably well with. Any and all constructive criticism is appreciated.

P.s. Don't mind the landbase. I know it's suboptimal but I'm primarily a Commander player, don't have multiple copies of most fetches and don't have the heart/wallet to shell out for playsets of Misty and co.

Couple bigger changes:

It seemed appropriate to take out the mere 2 copies of BBE and open up the floodgate of possibilities for cards that are otherwise anti-synergistic with it. This allows for countermagic as well as experimentation with cards like Finale of Promise.

With BBE gone, Archmage's Charm loses some of its appeal, especially as a form of countermagic. It'll still be on the table as something to think about, but cheaper forms like Stubborn Denial (which works beautifully with Footfalls and leveled Hexdrinkers), Spell Snare, Spell Pierce, etc. are more appealing right now.

Wrenn and Six are coming out for the time being. They don't make much of an impact in the current build and likely wouldn't be great without more land synergies.

Faithless Looting looks really good, especially since the deck's taking a turn towards some graveyard synergies.

The deck needs more early drops and pressure. My initial thoughts lean towards Delver and Goyf, but these might change as the deck progresses.
