My version of RDW after scars rotates. Credit to Anders Simpson-Wolf. Thanks for some of the great ideas like the following: Nightbird's clutches is great against thragtusk and armada wurm decks. Gore-house chainwalker seems pretty good and i'll be very interested to see how he does.

Consider taking out the dual lands, for me not worth the consistency for 5 cards in the sideboard.

I just signed on to write up an RDW list too. I was thinking Nivmagus Elemental might be a good choice to help deal with spells that are countered or evaded.

I thought about Nivmagus Elemental , but to be honest he's a 1/2 most of the time or you have to give up card advantage. I honestly think he's better in sorcery and instant deck, but thanks for the suggestion.

I am currently building a rdw using Nivmagus Elemental along with Guttersnipe . This way you cast your spell, deal the two damage to the player and then exile it to get the +2/+2. So you can Burn and Buff at the same time with one card.

Yeah, its a cool idea, but its extremely fragile. I want consistency and to kill my opponent before they can play Thragtusk or Armada Wurm .
