Something to control the board state in the first 2 turns would be nice. If you're gonna go Blue+Emrakul personally I think you should lean away from the recursion and focus on controlling the board. Focus the deck so that you can consistently get that Emrakul out. Mana Leak Murderous Cut would be nice maybe some Fatal Push and Abrupt Decay, Serum Visions would probably help with the consistency too, its like the best damn draw card.

Since Goryos exiles the card after use, you're gonna want to try and make it a 1 swing win from Emrakul.

That's the idea bub, if I have a safe haven out I get a double etb on him

I literally dont have room to put anything else in. The way this thing runs it does not care what my opponent is doing. Turn 3-4 the pain discard really ramps up fast and I just get massive advantage. With Waste Not on the board it just goes nuts. Dark Deal turn 3 on a turn 2 Liliana's Caress is just brutal.

I figured. I'll think about what might help you and send some tips. my buddy plays Jeskai Nahiri so the idea is probably gonna be similar. You both want to one shot with emrakul, the colors are just different. Tooth and Nail would be great if you could get the mana to cast it.

Ahhhh I feel that then, just make sure you have all the answers in sideboard! :)
March 13, 2017 6:31 p.m.
And as far as tooth and nail goes my opponent is just dead from discard long before I could ever cast that
March 13, 2017 6:36 p.m.
Yeah go the mean route, usually the safest bet in competitive play :). Problem with that though is when you face graveyard recursion decks like Dredge, you might have a difficult time. Especially since you can't exile cards, since you also need your graveyard. But that's only a handful of decks, and not like there's a deck that's good against everything anyway.

Like my vengevine deck, you've made me discard all of my cards. But I was trying to do that anyway, it's a double edged sword.
March 13, 2017 6:45 p.m.
Now that I think about it, as long as you have Surgical Extraction in the sideboard, you should be golden!

I went with Remand instead of Mana Leak here. Bounce, draw, make them discard it. I can also Remand my own spell to protect from counters and I would get an additional card there so I just get so much more value.

GreenisGod I tried Tooth and Nail on xmage as a 1 of and it was just a dead draw everytime. Either I didn't have the mana for it or I had more important cards to play. It didn't have priority because I could kill them that turn instead of waiting until the next turn.
March 16, 2017 5:31 p.m.
GreenisGod dumped the emrakuls, griselbrands, and vengeance to focus on the primary aspect of the deck which is massive draw/discard disruption.

You're gonna need more ways to win the game. Add the Rack?
March 27, 2017 1:54 a.m.
The rack isn't good here. Yes they are discarding but they are redrawing so that I can make them discard more.
