Looking to build a Budget burn-deck for standard (mono-red). I'm excluding the sets in standard that will be rotated out with the next set. Essential to the deck are The Flame of Keld, Ghitu Lavarunner and Guttersnipe. The main idea is to spend the opening hand as quickly as possible and then land the Saga on turn X, to burst down on turn X + 2 (X<5). The amount of lands is chosen with consideration the average CMC (1.8), which in effect should be slightly lower (1.6) than indicated on this page, as Wizard's Lightning should effectively be a Lightning Bolt if one is careful with ones Wizards (there are a grand total of 8 in the deck). The sideboard tries to counter decks heavy in creatures (Act of Treason), artifacts (Smelt), and or blue decks (Lightning Mare). Intend to update with the release of Guilds of Ravnica.
