One of my favorite tactics is everyone's least favorite to go up against: Theft! Marchesa, the Black Rose's mechanic is an entertaining and unique way to use red-colored theft cards to permanently steal creatures without attaching a removable Enchantment to them. She also provides a board-presence as well as any commander can, with her potent ability to resurrect dudes back to the battlefield quite reliably. Fun stuff! Some ETB abuse can be found but not as much as perhaps some Marchesa decks.

I used Budget Marchesa, the Black Rose as the deck's skeleton and upgraded from there.
